Elvis Mujagic, PhD student at the TU Wien, received the new SPIE Laserfest Award at “Photonics West 2010″ in San Francisco. He was awarded the „Certificate of Excellence“ for his conference contribution on “Ring Cavity-Based Surface Emitting Quantum Cascade Lasers”. More information (German) |

Following a long tradition, the European Semiconductor Laser Workshop (ESLW) 2009 will be held in conjunction with the 35th European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communication (ECOC), which will be held in Vienna in the week starting September 20, 2009.
The workshop will be taking place on Friday, 25. September and Saturday, 26. September 2009 at the Vienna University of Technology - Austria
